Since mangahelpers stopped offering raws I'm also finding it difficult to find raw manga =( I usually manage to find what I'm looking for on a few sites though: - You'll need to be able to use IRC to download from here. They have quite a lot of stuff, so it's worth it I think - You'll need IRC for this too. - Loads of raw manga here. You need to sign up to download, but it's well worth it. Of course if you still can't find what you're looking for, then you should be able to find it on share or perfect dark (japanese p2p apps) if you look hard enough.

Ika Musume, and found that it was too difficult. I also tried Doraemon, but that one does not have furigana. I only know about 300 kanji, which turned out to be insufficient, and I was spending way too much time in my kanji dictionary.
