Eaton is also a suspect in the disappearance of Amy Wroe Bechtel, who went missing in 1997 while jogging in the Shoshone National Forest near Lander, Wyo. Eaton is known to have been in the Elko area from 1992 to 1995, during the span of time when Shafter Jane was murdered. This case was the first one that really sucked me in. The circumstances of her murder are so horrific, and I've always wondered if she has a child and a family that are missing her. It bothers me that she hasn't been identified yet.
